DNS test
DNS turns domain names like example.com into IP addresses. When DNS fails you're technically online but websites won't load. This test resolves and connects to several well-known domains from your browser so you can tell whether DNS is the problem. It runs automatically below.
—
Resolves and connects to google.com, cloudflare.com, and github.com from your browser. Times include DNS lookup plus connection setup.
How to read the results
Each domain shows a time in milliseconds if it resolved and connected successfully, or "failed" if it didn't. All successes mean DNS is healthy. One or more failures — especially across all domains — points to a DNS or upstream connectivity problem.
Fixing DNS problems
If the test fails but you're otherwise connected, try switching to a public DNS resolver such as Cloudflare (1.1.1.1) or Google (8.8.8.8), flushing your DNS cache, or restarting your router.
