Latency (round-trip)
—
Quick estimate based on a small download from our server. Results vary with server location, network load, and browser conditions — run a few times for a reliable picture.
How the test works
We download a small file from our server and measure how long it takes to estimate your download speed in megabits per second (Mbps). Separately, we send several lightweight requests and average the round-trip time to report your latency (ping).
How to read your results
Download speed: 25 Mbps or more is comfortable for HD streaming and video calls; 100+ Mbps handles multiple 4K streams and large downloads. Latency: under 50 ms is excellent, 50–100 ms is good, and above 150 ms you may notice lag in calls or gaming.
Why results vary
This is a quick estimate, not a lab benchmark. Distance to our server, Wi-Fi signal, other devices on your network, and browser overhead all affect the number. Run it a few times for a reliable picture.
