GitHub PR & Git Degraded

No internet-wide outage was detected on November 4, 2026. One notable provider incident is active, and the core cloud and CDN providers report no problems.

Active: GitHub. As of about 09:53 UTC, GitHub is investigating an incident affecting Pull Requests, Git Operations and Issues. Pull Requests shows a partial outage. Git Operations, Issues and Actions show degraded performance. API requests, Webhooks, Packages, Pages, Codespaces and Copilot were listed as operational. A separate Copilot Mission Control incident (task listing and creation errors) was resolved at 10:01 UTC. Source: githubstatus.com

Core infrastructure: no active incidents reported. AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, Azure DevOps, OpenAI, Anthropic (status.claude.com) and Discord show no active incidents. Cloudflare has no incidents, only planned data-center maintenance in several cities (for example Dallas, Kuala Lumpur, Hong Kong and Karachi), which may reroute traffic and slightly raise latency. Discord had two voice-connection incidents on Oct 30 and Oct 31, both resolved.

Other providers checked. Atlassian, Slack, Vercel, DigitalOcean, Groq, Cohere and Stability AI report all systems operational. Zoom lists only scheduled maintenance with no expected operational impact (Zoom Phone AMS5 users may see brief call drops). Twilio lists several carrier-specific issues, mostly regional and recovering: voice call failures in the Philippines and Romania, post-dial delay in Thailand, and MMS delays on C-Spire in the US. Akamai has open items, including a security advisory (CVE-2026-98432) under investigation and a monitoring-state item for Edge Delivery between Indonesia and Singapore.

Uncertainty. The status pages for Heroku, Stripe, ElevenLabs, Meta and the AWS health dashboard returned no usable content, so we could not confirm their state. Cursor's status address redirected elsewhere and was not checked. Web searches and crowd-sourced sites showed no evidence of a widespread routing, DNS or undersea-cable problem today. Downdetector could not be fetched directly.

The broader internet is operating normally. Developers who depend on GitHub pull requests or Git operations may see failures or slowness until it recovers.
