Minor Twilio & Akamai Issues

No widespread internet outage was detected on November 1, 2026. The core cloud, CDN and platform providers we checked report normal operation, with a few localized or advisory-level items below.


What we found

  • Twilio (status.twilio.com): several regional telephony incidents were still open at last update on Oct 31 (PDT): Silent Network Authentication failures on Indosat in Indonesia (verifications may fall back to SMS OTP), voice call failures to Romania, voice post-dial delay to Thailand, and MMS delays to C-Spire in the US (delivery recovered, being monitored). These are carrier- and country-specific, not global.
  • Akamai (akamaistatus.com): no platform-wide outage. The page still lists open items: an earlier Edge Delivery issue between Indonesia and Singapore (fix applied Oct 25, monitoring), Mumbai/Chennai packet loss that has subsided, and several customer security advisories (including Brotli and F5/NGINX vulnerabilities). Advisories are not service outages.

    • Reporting normal (no active incidents): Cloudflare (scheduled maintenance at some data centers only), GitHub, OpenAI, Anthropic, Discord, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, Atlassian, Slack, Zoom (no-impact maintenance), Vercel, DigitalOcean, Groq, Cohere, Stability AI.


    Recently resolved: GitHub had several incidents on Oct 30 (Dependabot, Actions/Pages/Webhooks), resolved. Discord voice connection issues on Oct 30-31, resolved. DigitalOcean Managed Kubernetes cluster operations issue on Oct 28, resolved.


    Limitations: AWS, Heroku, Stripe, ElevenLabs, Replicate, Meta and Azure DevOps status pages did not return usable content, so we cannot confirm their state. Cursor's status address redirected to an unrelated host and was not followed. Downdetector and istheservicedown.com gave no readable outage data, and web searches surfaced no dated reports of a major outage or BGP incident today. Fastly and Cloudflare Radar are not checkable by automated request.
