Twilio Carrier Delays Ongoing
No widespread internet outage was detected on October 25, 2026. Core infrastructure is operating normally, with localized and provider-specific issues noted below.
Ongoing: Twilio (status.twilio.com) lists several active, mostly carrier- or country-specific messaging and voice incidents as of about 02:11 PDT. These include SMS delays to Airtel Nigeria, SMS delays and failures from short codes in India, SMS delays to Claro in Costa Rica, voice post-dial delay to Thailand, and SNA/Lookup timeouts in the Netherlands. Several US and Chile voice issues are in recovery and being monitored. Impact is limited to specific carriers and routes, not Twilio as a whole.
Recently resolved: Anthropic (status.claude.com) had two brief episodes of elevated errors today (06:05-06:35 UTC and 08:08-08:29 UTC), both resolved. GitHub (githubstatus.com) had no open incidents; minor issues on Oct 23-24 (Dependabot alerts, Actions status check delays, Grok model availability in Copilot) are resolved. Akamai (akamaistatus.com) resolved an Edge Delivery capacity issue on Oct 23 and is tracking security advisories (Node.js Brotli, F5/NGINX) with no customer impact found so far. Cloudflare (cloudflarestatus.com) reports no active incidents, only scheduled maintenance in Nairobi and Guatemala City.
All clear at the time of checking: AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, Azure DevOps (page returned no details), OpenAI, Discord, Atlassian, Slack, Zoom (maintenance only, no impact), Vercel, DigitalOcean, Cursor, Groq, Cohere, Stability AI. Heroku, Stripe, Replicate, ElevenLabs and Meta status pages did not return readable incident data, so we cannot confirm their state. Web searches surfaced no confirmed BGP or routing incident for today. Crowd-sourced trackers could not be read directly.
Overall: incidents detected, but none widespread. The internet is up.
