Google Cloud London Issues

Status: incidents-detected. No internet-wide outage was found today, but one regional cloud incident is ongoing.

Ongoing: Google Cloud europe-west2 (London)

Google Cloud reports that multiple services in europe-west2 have had elevated errors and intermittent network failures since 23:08 PDT on Oct 19 (06:08 UTC Oct 20). Google lists 35+ affected products, including AlloyDB, Apigee and BigQuery Data Transfer Service. Looker Studio is not affected. Google's engineers are still investigating and no root cause has been published. Other regions are not listed as affected. Source: status.cloud.google.com

Cloudflare: two minor product-specific incidents are open, Google Gemini controls in Secure Web Gateway/DLP and incorrect WARP geolocation for some users. A critical Zero Trust connectivity incident (03:20-06:32 UTC Oct 20) is resolved. A short network performance issue in Virginia and Ohio on Oct 18, caused by prefix withdrawals at an external peer, is also resolved. Source: cloudflarestatus.com

Twilio: several carrier-specific messaging and voice delays are open in Brazil, Italy, Thailand, the US and Australia. These are regional and not a platform-wide outage. Source: status.twilio.com

Resolved in the past 72 hours: GitHub Actions, Pages and webhooks were degraded for about an hour on Oct 19 (githubstatus.com). Zoom had minor, resolved issues.

No issues reported: Azure, Akamai, OpenAI, Anthropic, Discord, Atlassian, Slack, Vercel, DigitalOcean, Groq, ElevenLabs, Cohere, Stability AI and Cursor.

Gaps: We could not read AWS, Azure DevOps, Heroku, Stripe or Meta status pages (empty or JavaScript-only responses). Web searches found no confirmed internet-wide outage or BGP incident today. Crowd-sourced outage trackers showed no visible spike, but we could not read the numbers behind their charts. Treat the all-clear for those providers as unconfirmed.
