All Clear

As of 09:50 UTC on Saturday, October 17, 2026, we see no widespread internet, cloud or routing disruption. The major cloud providers, CDNs and AI platforms we checked all report normal operation.

**Core infrastructure**

  • Google Cloud and Microsoft Azure: no broad incidents listed ([Google Cloud](status.cloud.google.com), [Azure](azure.status.microsoft)).
  • AWS: the public Health Dashboard lists no new events. The only entries are old Middle East region events from March 2026.
  • Cloudflare, Akamai, GitHub, OpenAI, Anthropic (Claude) and Discord: operational, with no incidents so far today.
  • Atlassian, Slack, Zoom, Vercel, Heroku, DigitalOcean, Stripe, Cursor, Groq, ElevenLabs, Cohere and Stability AI: all operational.

  • **Minor and regional items**

  • Twilio is showing partially degraded service from several carrier-specific delivery issues: SMS delays to the Czech Republic and to Brisanet in Brazil, plus voice post-dial delay to Brazil and Thailand. These are limited to particular routes. ([Twilio status](status.twilio.com))
  • User-report trackers picked up scattered, short-lived complaints overnight about YouTube, Citi, DAZN Japan and a few regional carriers in Japan and France. None of these providers has confirmed an outage, and the reports did not point to a broader cause.

  • **Recently resolved (past 72 hours)**

  • **Cloudflare, Oct 15:** a major-impact network performance incident affected the Ashburn (IAD) and Newark (EWR) data centers in eastern North America from 20:48 to 21:38 UTC. On the same day, Pages.dev sites had availability issues in Norway for several hours.
  • **Cloudflare, Oct 16:** a series of shorter incidents: Workers Cron Triggers, Access availability (09:20 to 09:59 UTC), dashboard sign-ups, a five-minute spike in 5xx errors in Ashburn, and a major-impact FedRAMP Dashboard/Access issue from 17:56 to 19:09 UTC. All are resolved. ([Cloudflare status](cloudflarestatus.com))
  • **GitHub, Oct 15:** a brief alert about delayed CCA Automations, resolved within 25 minutes. GitHub later found no actual impact.

  • **Bottom line:** the internet is up. Today has been quiet so far, and Cloudflare's incidents from the past two days are all resolved.
