Cloudflare China Errors Ongoing

No widespread internet disruption was detected on Sunday, October 11, 2026. The major clouds (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure), GitHub, Discord and the main DNS and CDN providers are working normally. One notable incident is still open: elevated errors inside Cloudflare's China network.

**Ongoing: Cloudflare China Network errors**

At 04:13 UTC on October 10, Cloudflare began investigating a spike in errors at its China data centers. Less than two hours later it said the cause had been identified and a fix was in progress. More than 30 hours on, the incident is still marked "identified". Cloudflare lists its China Network as degraded, with Shenzhen, Xiangyang and Anshun showing outages and other Chinese cities degraded. The China Network is a separate offering run with a local partner, so this mainly affects visitors in mainland China reaching sites that opted into it. Traffic elsewhere is not affected. **Other open, limited-scope issues**

  • Akamai: an incident about origin connectivity errors in APAC (open since Sept 22) is still being monitored, and Edge Delivery is marked degraded. https://www.akamaistatus.com
  • Anthropic: Claude Console (platform.claude.com) is still marked degraded under an incident being monitored since Oct 7. The Claude apps and API are unaffected. https://status.claude.com
  • Slack: an iOS app crash when opening channels (since Oct 9) has a fix rolling out in an updated app version. https://slack-status.com
  • Twilio: carrier-specific SMS/MMS delays in Brazil, New Zealand, El Salvador, China, Australia and with GCI in the US. These are routine for messaging platforms.
  • OpenAI: Compliance API cost data is delayed. ChatGPT and the API are working normally.

  • **Resolved in the past 72 hours**

  • Google Cloud Storage: elevated latency and errors on uploads and writes, Oct 8 12:19 to 23:30 UTC.
  • Cloudflare: 1.1.1.1 and Gateway DNS issues in Singapore and API service issues (both Oct 9), plus short network performance incidents in Querétaro, Sofia and Kochi.
  • Vercel: delays in Drains, Observability and Workflow in Washington (iad1), Oct 10.
  • OpenAI: ChatGPT content missing on Android, and workspace plugin management problems (Oct 9). Errors for some APAC ChatGPT users (Oct 8).
  • Smaller incidents: Cursor Cloud Agents degradation, ElevenLabs dubbing and SIP disruptions, Zoom Chat file transfer and Zoom Phone PCI degradation, and a single-model issue at Groq.

  • **Consumer reports**

Crowd-sourced reports over the weekend showed only scattered ISP complaints (AT&T, Virgin Media, KPN, Telkomsel). None was confirmed as a broad outage. Itch.io users reported intermittent 429 rate-limit errors.

    **Notes**

  • AWS's public health dashboard still lists the long-running ME-CENTRAL-1 (UAE) and ME-SOUTH-1 (Bahrain) events from March, last updated Sept 15. Nothing new has been posted.
  • Stripe's public status feed did not return current data, so its status could not be independently confirmed. No outage reports surfaced.
  • Azure DevOps shows a maintenance advisory but healthy services.

  • The internet is up.
