Cloudflare WARP & Twilio Glitches

No internet-wide disruptions today. Core infrastructure is healthy — AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, Akamai, GitHub, OpenAI, Anthropic, and Discord all report normal operations, and there are no significant BGP, DNS, or undersea cable incidents.

Two providers are carrying minor open incidents. Cloudflare is still working on an issue, open since August 27, that returns incorrect geolocation for some WARP users; impact is rated minor and the broader CDN and DNS network is unaffected (cloudflarestatus.com). Twilio's status page lists several regional carrier-level degradations — SMS delivery issues to networks in Kuwait, El Salvador, and Costa Rica, MMS delays to C-Spire in the US, and voice-call problems on some UK routes and in Hong Kong — most already in recovery or being monitored (status.twilio.com).

Elsewhere: Slack continues to work through a low-impact issue, open since August 13, affecting access to historical messages in workspaces with custom data-retention policies (slack-status.com). The Internet Archive / Wayback Machine drew a bump of user outage reports this afternoon, though automated checks show it responding normally.

Recently resolved: GitHub cleared several Actions and Pull Request delay incidents earlier this week (Aug 24–27, githubstatus.com), Cloudflare resolved elevated 5xx errors in Singapore on August 29, and Zoom fixed a Hong Kong service degradation on August 27.
